Fall Check Up

Here it is, Fall, again.  Here are a few items that may need some attention.

Filters in your home need to be clean for air to flow through them easily.  Air filters should be changed, at least, once every three months.  You need to check the information on the filter to determine how often the manufacturer recommends changing their air filters.

It is so easy to forget about the smoke detector batteries.  You will need to check those every few months.  Did you know, a dirty dryer vent can cause a fire?  Be diligent about keeping that vent free of lint buildup.  Another fire safety check is your fireplace.  The buildup of soot and creosote can be the cause of a potential fire.  Have your fireplace checked for these buildups, as well as, debris and joint mortar failure.
